Nashua, NH dentist, Dr. Ura, is committed to excellence. He earned his undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Michigan in Industrial and Operations Engineering. Upon graduation, he went directly to dental school at the University of Michigan and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has been selected by New Hampshire Magazine as one of New Hampshire’s Best Dentist’s multiple times.
Dr. Ura has been practicing dentistry in Nashua since 1987. He moved his practice to its current location in 1989. His main focus is on restorative dentistry and he has completed over 2500 hours of post-graduate education in restorative care. Dr. Ura is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 1998, Dr. Ura earned a Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry then in 2009 earned his Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2016, he was awarded the Lifelong Service Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, an award that has been bestowed to less than 0.5% dentists worldwide. He is a past President of both the Nashua Dental Society and New Hampshire Dental Society. Dr. Ura also served the American Dental Association on the Council on Dental Benefits as well as chairing the Subcommittee of the Code. Dr. Ura is currently Chairman of the New Hampshire Dental Society’s Continuing Education Committee. He is a Fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists, an invitation only group dedicated to service and ethics.
Dr. Ura is also uniquely qualified to provide effective relief from chronic snoring and other sleep disorders, and he has a dedicated sleep center at his practice. Dr. Ura is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and he has been trained in dental sleep medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ura has also received training at the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
Nashua, NH dentist, Dr. Ura, is committed to community service and has served on the boards of Girls Incorporated, Immaculate Conception Parish Council, and was President of the Gate City Kiwanis, as well as a Nashua Youth Soccer League coach. Dr. Ura is married and has three grown kids and two grandchildren. (Their daughter Lisa Ura-Bollinger is an attorney in the same building). The Ura’s reside in Nashua.
Dr. Ura is a serious Michigan Football fan. He also spends time boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, works to master the game of golf as well as being an avid gourmet cook.
